About Me

I've been passionate about poetry for over 30 years and until recently had been writing purely for pleasure. At the end of 2020 I self-published my debut collection of poems, ‘Touching the Outer Edges’. This anthology of my work is based around the themes of injustice, travel, and nature. These topics are explored in an honest and intimate way, engaging the reader in a unique sensory journey.
Having been a resident of Hampshire for most of my life, I enjoy walking in my local parks and green spaces which inspire my creative writing. I fervently believe in the power of poetry – to calm the mind, to evoke empathy and bring people closer in an ever-changing world.
